Each backpack was constructed with a durable two-tone design featuring a solid black upper body and top handle, paired with a contrasting colour block across the lower front panel — produced in a choice of yellow, red, green, and grey to suit different distribution needs. Reinforced padded shoulder straps, a sturdy top carry handle, a side utility pocket, and a smooth front zip compartment give the bags the comfort and everyday durability expected of a genuine school backpack, ensuring long-term use well beyond a single outreach event.
A key feature of the project was the branded artwork printed prominently across the lower colour panel of each bag. The design featured the African Things logo, brand name, and tagline, alongside call/WhatsApp contact details, social media handle, and website address — turning every backpack into a walking billboard for the client's outreach campaign. The clean, high-contrast white print on a bold colour base ensured the branding stayed legible and eye-catching from a distance, ideal for community outreach, school distributions, and marketing drives.
